- Infrastructure development and conversion of assets to digital form
continued to be a dominant body of work during this reporting period. We also
made excellent progress in defining our initial offerings of educational
materials that will be built on the resources provided by the IAIA information
framework.

- The IAIA interim reports cover five areas: Planning/Infrastructure,
Digitization, Intellectual Access, Adding Value/Creating New Content, and
achievable goals for September 1, 1997 - June 30, 1998. During the project's
first quarter, the development of information standards that will enable
integrated access to MIA and Walker resources was a dominant body of work.
