Walker Corporate Membership: A Creative Investment

For more than 50 years, Minnesota companies of all sizes have generously supported the Walker as corporate members. With their kind and critical backing, the Walker has remained one of the leading arts centers in the nation while serving as the most-visited arts destination in the state. In appreciation, the Walker provides these community-minded companies broad recognition and many benefits to reward employees and entertain clients, including special discounts on Walker Shop purchases, guided tours, individual memberships, and event space rentals as well as access to corporate premiums and special events.

A longtime corporate member, Thrivent Financial is one of more than 50 companies that annually make donations to the Walker. Nationally recognized in 2014 as a Top 10 partner by the Business Committee for the Arts, Thrivent not only provides cash support for organizations such as the Walker, but also fosters a love for the arts as an integral part of its corporate culture. “From the British Arrows Awards to docent-led tours to mini-golf outings, Walker corporate membership allows us to find fun and creative ways to engage our employees and members while supporting Minnesota’s vibrant arts community,” says Michael Dominowski, director of community relations at Thrivent Financial. “We are delighted to support the Walker in this way.”
