Does the future of the working world involve outdoor offices? Jonathan Olivares Design Research thinks so: It recently created mockup office and classroom environments that can be rearranged in an outdoor space. Just add sun, air, and a water cooler.

Paddy Roy Bates, who in the ‘60s declared a UK offshore WWII platform the sovereign Sealand Principality, has died at the age of 91. The site, which hosts web servers, has attracted interest from artists (like design firm Metahaven) and technologists alike.
