Membership Discounts

We offer a $10 discount on Walker memberships to students, seniors, mnartist.org members, educators, corporate member employees, and nonresidents (those who reside outside of the seven-county metro area). To join or renew at a discounted rate, please call the Membership Office at 612.375.7655.

Member Premiums

New members may choose one of the following:

  • One ticket to Walker After Hours: Faux Real ($30 value)
    Preview the new exhibition Lifelike and celebrate its opening with food, drink, music, and more. February 24, 9 pm-12 midnight.
  • Two guest passes for admission to the Walker galleries ($20 value) Introduce friends or family to the world of contemporary art.
  • B.T. McElrath Salty Dog Chocolate Bar ($7 value)
    This gourmet artisan bar from Minnesota’s own premier chocolatier offers an unexpected mix of dark chocolate, sea salt, and butter toffee.
  • Donate to the tour guide bus fund ($8 value)
    The cash equivalent of your gift is allocated toward transportation subsidies for select visiting schools.

Renewing members will receive a voucher valid for one of the following:

  • 15% off dining at the Walker (Garden Café and Gather by D’Amico)
  • 20% off a Walker Shop purchase
  • 20% off a ticket purchase at the box office

All Walker members also receive a one-year subscription (10 issues) to contemporary design and architecture magazine Dwell. New members may decline this gift upon joining. If you are already receiving the magazine and do not wish to continue, you may cancel by calling Dwell at 877.939.3553.
