During the third weekend of July, more than 80 institutions in 30 cities across the country will participate in this free family event. Thanks to Target, Walker visitors receive free gallery admission and can take part in a variety of activities. Look for crash courses in drawing, dance, music, and design at the Family Art School, a high-tech version of tag using digital cameras. Enjoy live music at 6 pm.
Target Arts & Wonder Free Family Event is part of the Target commitment to arts and education. Since 1946, the company has given five percent of its income to support education, the arts, social services, and volunteerism. Today, that adds up to more than $3 million per week.
