Celebrating the Walker’s annual screenings of the British Arrows Awards, executive chef Josh Brown offers a delectable twist on British tradition with Scotch eggs, fish and chips, bangers and mash with onion gravy, prime rib and lamb korma—plus sweet finishes such as English sticky toffee pudding and treacle tart. Gather’s regular menu is available throughout the month as well. Also in December, chef Josh Brown is Gather’s featured Chef-in-Residence, serving two complimentary samples of his British Arrows-inspired menu on Thursday, December 6, 5 – 9 pm.

Located in the Bazinet Garden Lobby, the Garden Café is open before all and after most British Arrows Awards screenings. Offerings include a full complement of casual fare, snacks, and kid-friendly selections, plus British-inspired sandwiches, salads, and sweets—look for the Union Jack label. Classic ales, cider, and cocktail specials such as the Ginger Cup and the English Bulldog are available along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. On December 6, Gather executive chef Josh Brown shares tastes from his British-themed menu, which complements the British Arrows Awards screenings throughout December. As with the first Thursday of every month, guests can sample two complimentary menu items. Chef Brown will be present throughout the evening to chat with guests and answer any questions. Named “One of the Best New Restaurants of the Year” by Mpls./St. Paul magazine, Gather features a happy hour and full bar with an innovative specialty cocktail menu by mixologist Josh Rigert.
