The Visual Arts department offers two 24-month curatorial fellowships which begin in September of odd years. Occasionally one or both positions may be available in the even years.
The Curatorial Fellowship provides recent graduates in the field with important professional experience. Candidates for this position must have a Master’s Degree in art history or related field with emphasis on modern or contemporary art.
The Curatorial Fellowship for Diversity in the Arts supports the Walker’s goal to encourage greater diversity within the museum field by providing professional growth and development to beginning scholars.
