The Walker offers many free and discounted opportunities for college students, as well as a partnership program for colleges and universities that offers free admission and other perks for students and faculty during the academic year.

 

For a rate of $1,000 for the academic year, students and faculty at partner colleges and universities receive:

Visual Arts

  • Unlimited museum admission with school ID

  • Five free guided tours with a Walker educator for groups of 65 or fewer (advance reservation required)

  • Three free curator-led tours for groups of 15 or fewer (advance registration required)

Performing Arts

  • Pre-Show lectures (with purchase of tickets and advance request)

  • Performing Arts Season Lecture + McGuire Theater Tour (by advance request)

Moving Image

  • Film Series Lecture (by advance request)

The rate for the academic year will be prorated based on the contract start date. Future annual rates subject to change.

College and University Researchers

Are you a researcher looking to access materials at the Walker?

College and university researchers can contact movingimage@walkerart.org to reserve a time to view a specific film in the Ruben/Bentson Moving Image Collection.
