Free First Saturday: Virtual Kids’ Film Fair

The Walker Art Center presents its annual Kids’ Film Fair online from March 5–12. A free program of colorful, fun, and creative short animated and live-action films for families will be available to stream at walkerart.org throughout the week. A downloadable scavenger hunt, discussion guide, and art-making activity will be available for families to continue to explore the films.
Watch Party: Saturday, March 6 at 10 am
During the run of the films, there will be a live Saturday morning watch party on March 6. After the screening, meet some of the directors, who will share how the films were made and answer questions. Then, follow along as Nicolas Collard, instructor at Xelias Aerial Arts, demonstrates some circus arts warm-ups and skills that families can try at home. Xelias Aerial Arts is a Minneapolis-based aerial arts studio for students of all ages.

Circus Movements by Lukas Berger and Mário Gajo de Carvalho
