Music, Art, and Film are On Tap for February Free First Saturday

the Walker Art Center’s

Free First Saturday

program on Saturday, February 7, from 11 am-4 pm. As the Walker prepares to close its doors for a year to complete work on its expansion, visitors are invited to this last Free First Saturday until May, when the program returns for five months of fun in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. Highlights for February include a multimedia performance of storytelling with music and art, and screenings of films about journey and adventure. Other events include an Art Lab activity offering participants a chance to create their own souvenir print of a favorite Walker memory and a family tour of the exhibition Selections from the Permanent Collection.
