Returning to the Walker September 18th, Party In/The Garden promises a signature Walker party. In-person tickets have sold out, but for the first time, the Walker’s annual benefit experience offers opportunities to participate virtually, allowing guests to take part from around the world.
The virtual experience, free and open to all, will drop on the Walker website on September 18 at 5 pm (CDT). It will include an exclusive 15-minute short film featuring artists Angela Two Stars and Julie Mehretu as well as a custom playlist by Dessa so you can continue the party in your own backyard!
Proceeds from Party In/The Garden support the Walker Art Center’s award-winning artistic and educational programs and help us continue to fulfill our mission as a catalyst for the creative expression of artists and the active engagement of audiences.
