This Week's Walker at Home Features Seph Rodney and Lissa Jones in Conversation, Walker Teen Arts Council Bingo, and Job Wouters in the Archives

As stay-at-home orders begin to lift and temperatures continue to rise, we hope connecting through art also keeps your spirits up during this time. This week, we invite you to join us for a conversation about the future of visitor experience in museums, play virtual bingo with our teen arts council (and apply to join the program next year!), and reflect on the ways that home and art can intersect.

Walker Bingo

Did you know the Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council has existed for more than 25 years? This group of Twin Cities teens comes together to engage with the Walker in meaningful ways—including their most recent bingo boards research project. Play along by sharing your board on Instagram (tag @walkerteens and @walkerartcenter) or email it to teenprograms@walkerart.org. (Dauber not included.)

Interested in joining the 2020–2021 council? Applications are open through June 22.

Home at the Walker

As some Minnesota businesses start reopening and we might be itching to get out of the house more than ever, we reflect on artist/designer Job Wouters bringing Home to the Walker in 2013. It gets us thinking: how do home and art intersect?
