Marge and Irv Weiser fell in love with the Walker after moving to Minneapolis in 1973. “We’ve always believed in the vitality of art and the role it can play in enriching a community. Getting involved with the Walker was a natural decision when we moved from New York,” says Irv. For these longtime collectors and dedicated Walker supporters, establishing a promised gift of art in their estate plan was a natural choice. “Collecting art has been a passion of ours for years, and we’ve always cherished the opportunity to share our collection with family and friends.
