Legacy Circle: Preserving a Community Treasure

Emily Galusha and Don McNeil have been involved with the Walker for more than 45 years. During this time, they have supported the institution in numerous ways: shepherding major early foundation grants; attending exhibitions, performances, and screenings; lending artworks to shows and donating pieces to the collection; and contributing to capital campaigns and yearly to the Annual Fund.

“Our professional and personal lives have always focused on the arts, especially contemporary art. The Walker’s innovative leaders and staff taught us much that has been invaluable to us professionally and led us to become very involved personally as well. We believe that those who follow us should experience the same benefits and pleasures.” Joining the Legacy Circle, the Walker’s Planned Giving Society, was a natural next step. Thanks to their generous plans, more than three dozen carefully selected works will be gifted to the Walker and enjoyed by visitors well into the future.
