Legacy Circle: The Cherry on Top
Meet Legacy Circle members Mary Anne Ebert and Paul Stembler.
HOW DID YOU DECIDE TO GET MORE INVOLVED WITH THE WALKER?
We live just a few blocks away, across Loring Park. On our frequent walks in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to visit Spoonbridge and Cherry and other favorites, we’d often head across the street to visit the galleries. Our interest in supporting the Walker has simply grown with time.
WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO INCLUDE THE WALKER IN YOUR ESTATE PLAN?
As a multidisciplinary contemporary art center, the Walker serves the Twin Cities, Minnesota, the United States, and our world community most broadly. We want the museum to continue to have an impact. Because of our strong personal connection, we have made a bequest to the Walker in our living trust.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE CONSIDERING MAKING THIS COMMITMENT?
The Walker is an awesome and awe-inspiring institution that needs to be supported. Helping it continue to thrive will allow you to have a positive influence on families and communities for generations to come.
LEAVE A LEGACY
By making a planned gift to the Walker, you too can make a long-term investment in Walker programs. If you have included the Walker in your estate plans or would like more information on setting up your gift, visit walkerart.org/legacycircle or contact Michelle Poss, gift officer, at 612-375-5838.
