The Next Generation of Parks: Urban Design

The latest lectures in the Next Generation of Parks series mark not only the 25th anniversary of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden but also RiverFirst, a new 20-year master plan to redevelop Minneapolis’ Mississippi Riverfront. Organized as a way to engage citizens in imagining the future of our landmark parks system, the Next Generation of Parks series is copresented by the Minneapolis Parks Foundation, the University of Minnesota’s Department of Landscape Architecture and College of Design, the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Walker Art Center.
