Each winter, the Walker presents Out There, an exploration of the outermost reaches of contemporary performance. The 2027 season features four theatrical works that underscore the inherent strangeness of “normalcy.” From a playful examination of rural Americana to a tongue-in-cheek exposé of the life insurance industry, the series frames inquiry as an act of resistance. It argues that what is “normal” is rarely accidental—there is almost always more to the story.

Out There tickets are currently only available as part of a four-show series package. Purchase and save 15% (30% for members). Single tickets go on sale at a later date.
