Grab a blanket, pack a picnic, and bring friends to Loring Park for the Walker’s ever-popular Summer Music & Movies. Enjoy a sparkling sampler of live music and films under the stars. Local bands kick-start each night, and this year’s film series is inspired by the exhibition Ordinary Pictures, exploring a world immersed in television, magazines, and constant documentation.
Music begins at 7 pm; movies begin at dusk (approximately 8:45 pm). In case of rain, the events on August 1 and 22 will move to the McGuire Theater.
