Join artist Olalekan Jeyifous in conversation with artist and educator Gudrun Lock as they explore the intersections of architecture, engineering, and site-responsive art. In connection with Hydricosmic Litanies, Jeyifous’s first solo exhibition, they’ll discuss how their creative practices draw from built environments, material systems, and the histories and communities embedded in place.

Working across art, architecture, and design, Jeyifous and Lock use making as a way to investigate how environments are constructed, experienced, and imagined. Together, they’ll share their approaches to creating work that responds to the landscapes, communities, and material realities of Minnesota’s land and waterways.

This event is part of Free Thursday Nights. Galleries are open late and free from 5 to 9 pm.
