This is a limited capacity event and tickets are non-transferable between workshops. Please plan ahead; late arrivals are not guaranteed a seat. A waitlist will be kept night-of. Any unfilled seats available 15 minutes after workshop start may be shared with those on the waitlist.

Food and art combine in this delicious workshop. Learn a range of traditional icing methods and more experimental decorating trends from skilled local pastry chef Zainab Youngmark of Quiet Cat Bakery and see how far you can push the limits of edible creations.
A limited supply of vegan, gluten free cakes will be available upon request. Materials are provided and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
This event is part of Free Thursday Nights. Galleries are open late and free from 5–9 pm. The evening also includes Art Club, featuring free creative programs in the Art Lab.

Zainab Youngmark (she/her) is a Twin Cities based pastry chef and the founder and owner of Quiet Cat Bakery. Since launching Quiet Cat in 2019, she has used baking as a creative medium to explore experimental flavors, locally sourced and foraged ingredients, and decorative whimsy. Her work brings together curiosity, seasonality, and artistry to create pastries that are as imaginative as they are delicious.
