Art-Making in the Garden
Event Details
Part of: Summer Social 2026
Visit the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden on Fridays all summer long to try drop-in art-making activities designed for ages 4 and up. With all art supplies provided and a new project each week, Friday Art-Making in the Garden gives anyone the chance to come together to explore art and their own creativity.
Activities take place Fridays, 10 am–1 pm. No prior registration is required.
Activity instructions are available in English and Spanish.
Look for Walker educators stationed in the Garden. Signs will point you in the right direction. Materials will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis; supplies are limited.
Friday Art-Making in the Garden will not take place on June 19 or July 3.
In case of rain or inclement weather, activities may move indoors to the Art Lab on LL. Call 612-375-7600 or email info@walkerart.org for weather updates.
The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is wheelchair accessible. Some activities may take place on grass and gravel surfaces.
For questions about accessibility or to request accommodations, call 612-375-7564 or email access@walkerart.org.
