JoAnn Verburg and Ping Chong

Photographer JoAnn Verburg and performance/visual artist Ping Chong have been friends for 25 years. Chong has enjoyed a long relationship with the Walker, which commissioned and presented his work a number of times throughout the 1980s and ’90s. He and Verburg met when she began photographing performing artists at the Walker.
