Artist Abbas Akhavan joins exhibition curator Pavel Pyś for a discussion of the development of Akhavan’s work and the process of organizing Abbas Akhavan: Variations on a Garden, his first US survey exhibition.  

Spanning the course of his 20-year practice, Variations on a Garden highlights recurring conceptual concerns, particularly human relations to the natural world, public and private space, and the conservation of heritage sites. 

Come early or stay after the talk to explore the exhibition—gallery admission is free from 5 to 9 pm.
