How does fabric travel and connect far away people? Can learning to sew help us feel more human? Become part of a new artwork that asks these questions when you hand sew a simple, zero-waste pouch or scrunchie using fabric designed by the artist collective Vessel for the exhibition Design Triennial: Beyond Modernism. Special guest Navine Dossos of Vessel will be in attendance; hang out for a chance to meet and connect while you stitch!
Make art inspired by the weird, experimental, poetic, and inventive works featured in the exhibition Design Triennial: Beyond Materialism. This session will be planned and hosted by members of the 2026–2027 Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council
