Avant Garden Art Auction 2026

Did you know the Walker’s annual Avant Garden benefit includes a premier art auction? This year’s auction brings together 24 works generously donated by local, national, and international artists, offering a vibrant reflection of the art and ideas shaping our time. All works are offered for purchase through a silent auction.

The works up for bid will be on view in the Walker galleries, Wednesday–Friday, September 16–18. Note: The Walker is closed on Saturday, September 19.

This year’s auction features donated works by Nathalie Du Pasquier, Theaster Gates, Jenny Holzer, Dyani White Hawk, and others.

Proceeds from Avant Garden support the Walker Art Center’s award-winning programs.
