Join artist Olalekan Jeyifous and curator Taylor Jasper for an opening-day conversation about Hydricosmic Litanies, the artist’s first solo exhibition. They will unpack how water and its infrastructures form the exhibition’s visual and spatial language, and how the installation draws directly on the Mississippi River as both subject and system. The conversation situates these ideas within Jeyifous’s larger practice of speculative world-building that examines ecology, industry, and power.

Following the talk, the evening continues with a reception in the Cargill Lounge. Enjoy conversation, drinks, and small bites. A pop-up bar will be open in the Main Lobby starting one hour before the talk.

Galleries are open late and free on Thursday nights from 5 to 9 pm.
