When Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis) and his family find the baby Elora Danan floating on a raft of reeds in the stream near their village, he unwittingly finds himself at the center of a hero’s journey to dethrone the realm’s evil sorceress queen. In this classic fantasy adventure tale, the diminutive Willow is joined by the taller, though less than valorous, swordsman Madmartigan (Val Kilmer). Together the duo rises to the occasion, becoming better versions of themselves in the process as they face an epic battle against evil. 1988, US, DCP, 126 min.

This screening opens the Once Upon a Time in Manhood cinema series. The July 10 screening will be introduced by series curator Dallas Goldtooth.
